Where can I see a list of activities based on each facility?
All Sport One Day is using Eventbrite.ca again for information and registration. On the Eventbrite page, all the activities will be listed under the details button located on the right side of the event page. Once you locate the facility you wish to attend it will show all the activities that are being held at that location.
How do I register my child?
Note: You must first create an account on Eventbrite.
To register a child in a sport activity, login and click on explore events. In the search bar, type in “All Sport One Day”. Look for a facility within your area you wish to be registered within. Once you click on a facility the list of actives occurring at that facility will be apparent. Choose an activity within your child's age range with available space. From there, select the register button along with the quantity of children you wish to register, and then follow the remaining on-screen directions. Please check your email for confirmation once the registration process is complete. Note: You have 20 minutes to complete the registration process.
How can I change or cancel my child’s activity schedule?
To change or cancel an activity, you must login to Eventbrite using your user name and password and then go to “My Tickets” located in the drop-down menu on the top right of the webpage. Once you see your ticket/activity click on it and it will bring you to a screen that will give you the option to print your tickets, or cancel your order. By clicking on the cancel icon, you can remove the activity from your schedule. If you wish you may register for another activity if space permits.
If all else fails, send us a note at email@example.com with the name of your child, the email address you used to register and the name/time/location of the sessions you need to change or cancel.
There is no Register button. Have I done something wrong?
No, if instead of the register button there is a details button that just means the tickets have not gone on sale yet. You are more than welcome to browse through the activities your child(s) may be interested in; however, tickets go on sale May 21st, 2018 at 10AM!
Can I register on-site?
Online registration is recommended to avoid disappointment. A very limited number of spaces may be available on-site on the event day, but we recommend online registration to get the activities that you would like. If drop-ins show up on-site they will be limited to activities that have open capacity.
Can I register my child in two different facilities?
It depends. You should register your child for no more than two activities. Please pick a facility that offers two activities that are of interest to you, or be prepared to travel to the next facility in time for your next session. Note that we reserve the right to cancel the excess registrations of children who are registered for more than two sessions, because we want to allow as many children as possible to try out a free sport!
Is there a waiver I should fill out in advance of event day?
Not all sessions require waivers. All required waivers will be available onsite at check-in on the day of your session. Plan to arrive early enough to fill out this form prior to the published start time.

Yes, this is a requirement. In addition to seeing your child discover a new sport, you will have an opportunity to connect with the instructors and volunteers from the sport organizations to learn about potential future programming opportunities for your child.
I don’t want any photos taken of my child. Can I decline the photo waiver?
Yes, there will be an optional online media release button you can accept or decline during the registration process. Additionally, a wristband or some sort of identifier will also be handed out to the participants who do not wish to have their picture taken at this event.
Can I drop off my child? Is it a day camp?
No, it is not a day camp. You are responsible for taking your child from the first activity to the second activity. All Sport One Day is an opportunity for parents to learn about new sport and connect with sport organizations in your area offering programming for children.
What time should I arrive at the facility?
Arrive at least 30 minutes before the activity is scheduled to begin. This will ensure you have time to check-in at the registration desk, pick up your t-shirt and name tag and find where the activity is scheduled to take place. (Please allow extra time if your activity requires specialized equipment.)
Why are there several age categories (6-8, 8-12 and 9-12, 13-17 or All Ages)?
Some activities are only offered to specific ages, depending on the physical and the coordination skills that are needed to participate. Some activities are divided into a 6-8 year category, 9-12 year category and a 6-12 year category, in order to provide a better experience for the children. This year, some sessions are also open to teenagers, so make sure you register in a session that is appropriate for the age of your child.
If there are individual sport related waivers, where can I find them?
Several sports have individual waivers that must be signed before they can participate. The individual waivers can be found on our website and/or an email will be sent out to participants registered in the sports requiring extra waiver permissions.
Is the equipment provided?
In most cases equipment will be provided, but you may bring your own equipment if you prefer. The activity description will inform you if the equipment is provided for that specific activity. Bathing suits and towels are not provided for children in water-based sport activities.
What should my child bring?
We recommend bringing a lunch. For indoor activities, a water bottle is suggested. For outdoor activities, a water bottle, jacket, hat, sunscreen and insect repellent are recommended.
What should my child wear?
For most activities, running shoes and sport clothing (shorts and sweat pants) are appropriate. For outdoor activities, a hat and sunscreen are recommended. Please dress for the weather.
