Calgary Underwater Hockey Club

The Calgary Underwater Hockey Club has been around since 1980. We are an all-ages club with 2 playing levels (beginners and teens/adults). We play 3 times a week at the Repsol Sports Centre. The club is multi-generational with parents and kids playing against each other.

Underwater Hockey is a co-ed, non-contact water sport played on the bottom of the pool. It involves strategy, skill and fitness in a unique 3-dimensional sheet of liquid ice. It is like hockey with snorkel gear. It 6 a side with on the fly substitutions, and involves pushing or flicking a puck along the pool bottom into the opponents net.
