Adventure Running/Orienteering

Orienteering is a cross-country adventure sport, in which the participant uses a detailed map and sometimes a compass to help them navigate through the race course. The object is to run to a series of points, shown on the map, choosing routes both on and off the trail, that will help them find all the points and get back to the finish in the shortest amount of time. Orienteering is a sport that combines running and navigation. Imagine a cross-country running race where everyone picks their own route.
