The Marketing & Communication Coordinator role reports to the Executive Director of Sport, Culture and Major Events The team has the responsibility of working with event rights holders, local organizing committees and sport organizations to bring events to Calgary that will drive incremental economic and social benefits for sport, culture, tourism, and the broader community.The successful candidate will act as the key liaison with the Tourism Calgary Marketing Team to ensure that the events coming to Calgary receive the profile and activation needed to be successful in our city.
