Sales Executive, Premium at Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation


Reporting to the Director of Sales and Suites, the Sales Executive - Premium Accounts will be responsible for working within the sales team to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue, and long-term account goals in line with the company’s vision, objectives and values.


  • Primary focus will be on prospecting and finding new business for the Calgary Flames, Hitmen, Roughnecks and Stampeder teams.

  • Prospect new business for the Calgary Flames, Calgary Hitmen, Calgary Roughnecks, Calgary Stampeder teams, and concerts;

  • Sell rental suites and other premium corporate experiences;

  • Host guests and clients during events;

  • Create and develop sales plans and goals alongside the Director, Suites and Sales;

  • Find new and innovative ways to grow sales;

  • Conduct sales presentations that highlight key benefits, ROI, and value of the products to the clients;

  • Support the sales team as necessary;

  • Assist with ticket administration and packaging;

  • Manage guest and client relationships throughout the season;

  • Support in-game sales promotions;

  • Execute a proven sales process;

  • Utilize and maintain accurate records within CRM;

  • Work trade shows and events to promotes CSEC premium experiences;

  • Actively participate in safety programs and follow policies;

  • Other duties and projects as assigned.


  • Customer focused and driven, while having a strong work ethic;

  • Several years of practical sales and marketing experience, including prospecting new clients;

  • Use a proven sales process to ensure success;

  • Produce weekly sales reports and statistics;

  • Possess enthusiasm, high energy, initiative, and outstanding communication skills along with a passion for sports;

  • You are able to work flexible hours – evenings and weekends required;

  • Work well in a team environment;

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent is preferred;

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office programs and have the ability to learn new programs. Experience with Microsoft CRM is an asset;

  • Presentation skills, professionalism and motivation are key success factors within this sales role.
