Operations Coordinator at Altadore Gymnastic Club

AGC is a well-managed non-profit Gym Club celebrating 52 years in business. We currently have over 1000 athletes and are looking for the right person to help us grow. Reports directly to the General Manager, the Operations Coordinator oversees the day-to-day financial operations of Altadore Gymnastic Club (AGC) in accordance with AGC Missions, Values, Policies and Procedures. The Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all of the administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities are:

Administration

  • Administers the day-to-day operations of AGC working collaboratively with the General Manager, Head Coaches and all Staff

  • Creates, follows and implements Board Approved Policies and Procedures as well as Policies set forth by governing organizations

  • Acts as a spokesperson for the organization

  • Develop and Implement needed Administration Processes

  • Provide strong administrative leadership for all programs

  • Maintain a safe and secure facility outside of the gymnastic area

  • Communicate and Interact with membership in a professional energetic manner through email, phone and face-to- face encounters

  • Manage Employee Benefit Program

  • Assist in structuring and implementing the Family Commitment Plan (FCP)

  • Helps to ensure good customer service leading by example through answering phones, speaking with parents, taking registrations and addressing concerns

  • Oversee all issues pertaining to JackRabbit (Registration Software)

Personnel Management

  • Encourage team building by facilitating open communication and positive working relationships with staff

  • Create and implement training manuals and procedures for administrative staff

  • Hire & train administrative staff

Financial Management

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations

  • Prepare payroll

  • Maintain all accounts payable/receivable and all other bookkeeping duties

  • Establish and implement a comprehensive filing system for current and archived financial documents

  • Search out and apply for Grants

  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of all bank accounts

Qualifications:

  • Preference will be to candidates with gymnastics knowledge/experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Education, Youth Services or related field.

  • High School Diploma

  • Approachable, great Customer Service skills

  • Must love children

  • Stellar Multitasking and Organizational skills
