Calgary Synchronized Skating Club

The Calgary Synchronized Skating Club, formerly known as Calgary Precision, was formed in May of 1995 with a goal of creating competitive teams within an atmosphere of fun and co-operation. Calgary Precision entered the synchronized arena in 1996 winning the Alberta Championships and also becoming Western Canadian Champions.

As well as competitive excellence, CSSC teams were also featured at the Calgary Flames Hockey Games, The Oldtimers Hockey Challenge and the Opening Ceremonies of the Canadian Airlines Saddledome. CSSC was here to stay.

The Calgary Synchronized Skating Club (CSSC) is home to seven dynamic and exciting Black Gold teams comprised of more than 80 skaters from ages 5 to over 50. In addition to enjoying the comradery and team environment of synchronized skating many of our members also skate for other Calgary area figure skating clubs where they train and pursue their individual goals. The Calgary Synchronized Skating Club is not directly affiliated with any other figure skating club, which allows the club to focus on coaching, skills and training for synchronized skating.

The CSSC club consistently ranks as one of the top teams against other Alberta and Western Canadian teams and has had significant achievements competing at a national level in recent years. The experienced and professional coaching staff have been key to the success of the club and have brought a high level of skating, choreography, performance and enthusiasm to this group of dedicated skaters.
