Harrison Bealing

Assistant Program Coordinator

Born and raised in Calgary, Harrison has been a member of the local sports community his whole life. As a child, he was involved in soccer, taekwondo, track & field, football, and basketball.

While attending elementary at Foothills Academy, he was named Male Athlete of the Year and MVP of the school’s basketball team. During high school, he became a D1 City Champion as a member of the St. Francis Browns football team.

Harrison is now pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at SAIT, where he has taken an interest in the impact sport has amongst a community, organized a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Society of Calgary, and has led youth as the Head Coach of the St. Ambrose Junior Girls basketball team.

During his internship at Sport Calgary, he is hoping to use Sport to benefit the youth in Calgary, and gain skills that help him better his community in the future. He is responsible for assisting in event planning and implementation, statistical analysis, and acting as a resource for the sport community in Calgary.
